Lesson 25: Jesselton Leisure 2010

I wanna thank Monica for giving me this privilege to have my videography display in this leisure book. Normally, one advertisement page in this book will cause about RM5000 (if I am not wrong). Hence, this is a good opportunity to show people about my videography.

Lesson 24: Floorball (The Next Generation Sport)

I wanna thank God for giving me a chance to shoot videos on sport. Though I have shot many sport videos, this is the first time using my SONY HDR-FX1000E to shoot it.

Shawn looked for me and request to have a Floorball video. His purpose is to use it for the Sabah Sport Association. Every year there will be a tournament for the whole Malaysia. Even though Floorball might be common in Europe and other countries, Malaysia just started Floorball about four years ago. That is why not many people in Malaysia know about Floorball. However, within these few years, Floorball has become one of the fastest sport in this century as it is stated in the sport statistic. Information obtained in Google Search.

When Shawn asked me to make video on Floorball, seriously I did not know what Floorball is. Hence, I asked "What is floorball?"

He smiled and reply, "That is why I am asking you to make this video."

Lesson 23: DREAM Advertisement (Pre Wedding)

Here comes the latest Pre Wedding Video of Jack's Stuff. This is made for the DREAM Bridal Shop. Models are Jacky and Jomica. Wedding gown is from DREAM.

I actually received a call from my previous customer saying his cousin will be opening a bridal shop soon. He actually recommended me to his cousin for videography. In the end, I called his cousin named Yee Weng Kok. He is the boss of DREAM Bridal Shop. I like him very much. He is a very sincere and easy going guy.

Then he actually want a video sample of Pre Wedding for his future customers. Then I suggested him that in fact, we should make a video that the lady was wearing DREAM wedding gown. Both of us agreed with this idea. In the end, this is the video sample.

Lesson 22: Jack's Stuff SONY

Indeed, this is his portfolio. View this clip and you should know who he is and what he does.

This is a project of SONY and Jack's Stuff Videography Production. With the full permission of SONY Centre Mega AVIT Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, this video clip is uploaded.

SONY Centre asked Jack Wong to promote their equipment (i.e. camcorder). When they saw the video work of Jack's Stuff, they know that Jack Wong is one of their SONY customers. SONY was pleased to find out the talent which Jack Wong has. Jack Wong is using SONY camcorder (Model: HDR-FX1000E) is to build his own career. The camcorder was ordered in Japan.

Jack has complied all of his videos (old and new). As you can see in this video, you can easily differentiate the old clips and the new ones. Th old ones quality are shot by SONY cybershot. A history collection of Jack's Stuff production combined with the new videos (which SONY HDR-FX1000E) makes a great clip of Jack's Stuff videography production.

SONY proudly presents the best of Jack's Stuff in the multimedia exhibition in a mall where everyone will get to know the power of videography through SONY and Jack's Stuff.

Lesson 21: 怎么说 (How to Say)

A Big Thanks to my dear friend who is willing to be my MV model in this video. I respect her words by not disclosing who she is. She may not like people who start to find out who she is. And of course, we watched the video together before this was uploaded. Everything goes smoothly. And lots of fun and laughter.

During the MV shooting, she was very excited and nervous. She kept on asking me "What if I did not do it well for your MV?" I smiled and said to her, "Relax, friend. I will be teaching you on how to do the steps. I am the director, therefore to guide you too. Just enjoy the process of videoshooting. If you are not doing well, do it again. No pressure, ok?"

Of course, I will publish what seems best to her. To cool her down, it takes more than half an hour. In the process of shooting, I kept encouraging her, "You have done well! This is really good!" Then I could feel that she started to enjoy herself and put herself in the relaxed state.

In the end, the video was done! And there you go! Do support us in the second MV.

Lesson 20: Tan Kyn Ming & Kelly Chan

A mature couple (both more than 30 years old) request their pre wedding to be beautiful. The problem is that the man wanted himself to be great in video but he is big in size. This is a challenging problem. Therefore, the same bridal shop called me to shoot video for them.

Of course, I will be very pleased to shoot the nice moments for them. Looking at them, having lots of laughter and joy, telling them to relax during the scenes... They were enjoying the scenes most of the time.

After I completed the video, they could not wait to see it. When they were watching it, the man could not believe that he looked great in video. I could see that they both were very satisfied with the videos.

I thank God for giving me more opportunities to shoot videos for different type of people - not only young, even the mature will be satisfied. I believe I had made a great breakthrough in videography.

Lesson 19: Rachel's Cinematic Wedding Trailer

Created the wedding trailer for viewers to know what actually happening on that day. The total duration of the wedding veent is more than ten minutes. Yet I have reduced the time to keep it short to roughly know what's going on during my sister's wedding.

Lesson 18: Voo Ken Kiong and Rachel Wong

This is my sister Rachel Wong and her husband Ken Kiong.

My parents came to me and ask me for help in her Pre Wedding video. Of course, I would love to help her for she is my lovely sister. In fact, it was a great lesson for me to learn how to shoot them in better angle. Till today, I had learn much on understanding the feeling of the couple. Indeed, it will develop a new concept of shooting them in a fantasy.

Their wedding is on 13 March 2010. I specially shoot this video for my lovely sister. And this time, it is also the same like Jacky and Riane. However, my sister and Kiong only had one suit for wedding dress. This is the video I shot for them. Enjoy...

Lesson 17: Story of Brotherhood

It was a story about two brothers in Christ were parted for ten years. They have a strong brotherhood in Christ, promising each other that one day they will unite again and pursue the Kingdom of God. The memories were brought through the hardship and the moments they spent together. They used to serve Jesus when they were not parted yet.

Though the past was only filmed a little, the whole message was brought that "God changes life".

His idea of the Pre Wedding is to create the atmosphere either a little action or a still pose to do the effects. People might think those video clips are photos, and very still... Yet when they view the background, it was a moving animation such as sea, sunlight, and others...

Specially thanks to Jacky and Riane for giving him an opportunity to shoot Pre Wedding video. That was a wonderful time shooting them for Pre Wedding.

I wanna thank Vivit and Siew Ching for giving me an opportunity to be their wedding videographer. I have divided into two parts; YouTube only allows a clip with only ten minutes. However, it will be easier to load the video as you are viewing the wedding, because the shorter the clip, the faster the loading.

Here is a tip for videographers in order to start a video clip right and fast: Get ready a laptop in your car. After shooting, immediately transfer the file in the car. While you are driving, you will feel better. Trust me.

Lesson 14: 不守诺言 (Broken Promise)

I cannot believe that this music video is made in a good quality. Getting used of my SONY HDR-FX1000E camcorder, I began to understand more about the usage and setting. It is never easy to use a great quality camcorder.

I specially thank my brother Junz and his friend Fanny for acting in this MV. Though people might say about their acting. To me, first time being actors, this is considered GOOD. And one thing I really enjoy doing, is to be a director.

The process of making this MV contains lots of laughter and fun. We can never explain the joy of having this MV.

Lesson 13: Metamorphosis

Jack's Stuff produced this video clip in 2008.

This trailer is about a boy who was raised by a master grew up into a better man. And he received a special gift from his master. And he was told that he could only use his power to overcome the evil. A guy who fought him was on the darkness side. And there are four episodes telling about the story. However, I did not upload the four episodes.

That can be introduced as a movie trailer which brings the crowd a big "Hoo Haa!" It can be shown as a great advertising production which draws the crowd's attention. Though first time doing this kind of clip, it was considered as a great editing clip.
